Salyan Oil is a large, international, independent company with a diverse and growing portfolio in oil exploration & production, gas production, oil refining, product storage, shipping & logistics. For many years, the company has been bringing together its research and design, exploration, drilling and production, oil refining, gas processing and marketing subsidiaries.
Salyan Oil carries out prospecting, exploration and production of hydrocarbons in several oil fields of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkmenistan. The Company's production units are fitted with advanced equipment and technologies, adjusted to local geological and climatic conditions, which allow the Company to do the full range of necessary work independently.
Salyan Oil produces a wide range of refined petroleum products with high-quality performance and environmental characteristics. The refineries are situated in several countries. The Company also operates strategically located tank terminals in a lot of countries. Through the global network of terminals, it has become possible to connect the supply and demand for vital petroleum products and resources.
Exploration and Production
Salyan Oil carries out a significant volume of exploration work, and constantly extends the portfolio of licenses to ensure a stable replenishment of oil and gas reserves.
When conducting exploration, the Company lays a lot of emphasis on the use of new technologies and equipment, and support of operations through research and development institutes, which makes it possible to increase exploration efficiency.
Salyan Oil maintains optimal Crude Oil production levels at mature fields and actively develops hard-to-recover reserves. At the same time, the Company actively develops promising fields creating new centers of oil production. Over the past years, the Company has been maintaining a stable level of oil production focusing on the improvement of oil recovery factor in all locations.
Oil Refining
Salyan Oil owns and operates several refineries which produce petroleum products with high-quality performance and environmental characteristics, carefully refined to meet international quality standards.

Gas Production
Salyan Oil is actively expanding its operations and activities in the field of gas production and transportation. Gas processing is an important part of an integrated system for collecting and utilizing associated petroleum gas.
The Company owns several Gas processing plants which are up-to-date complexes enabling it to produce dry stripped gas and liquid hydrocarbons which are widely used in industrial and energy sectors all over the world. Our Gas products have high qualitative characteristics and meet the requirements and technical regulations of most countries.
